Your SGS Watches timepiece is warranted for a limited period of 5 years from the date of purchase. If the watch is defective, an original invoice or purchase receipt must be presented together with the warranty.
The primary coverage:
In case the watch proves to be defective under normal use, the warranty will cover the components that have failed to perform due to defects in workmanship or materials. The watch will be repaired or replaced free of charge with another one of the same model or with a compatible one.
What the five-year warranty does not cover:
A) Any damages resulting from different causes other than defects in material or workmanship. These include alteration, improper handling, negligence, abnormal use, lack of care or manual damage.
B) The strap, crystal, and battery. Any aesthetical changes that may occur due to normal aging and wear and tear including minor scratches on the case, strap or crystal, peeling of the plating or alterations in the color of the watch band.
C) Any damages caused by improper resealing of the watch after opening its case. Or damages when the watch was used under the conditions greater than maximum allowed water resistance level specified on the watch.
D) Damages or failures resulting from natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, tornadoes or fire or water.
E) Damages caused by improperly or incorrectly conducted repairs, servicing or maintenance.
Please note that a suitably qualified technician must perform any repairs, maintenance or servicing that require the opening of the case of your watch. The warranty will become void if the watch becomes damaged during maintenance that is not conducted by SGS Watches.
SGS Watches is not liable for any consequential, special or incidental damages and any recovery may not exceed the total amount paid for your watch.
